It is about the human aspiration to archetypal ideal, the purpose/dream, that we have somewhere on the way, by the negligence, civilization, or by some historical occasions, lost. Through the vision we can see the fragments of the real world, present, past or the future, which aren’t real, but metaphorically, through the symbolism, ask for specific questions. According to techniques, the contrasts of black and white surfaces are evident, they highlights the conflict of the light and darkness. In that sence, all the works can be considered double. That dualism is present in interpretation in every each of them. With sharp lines and powerful expression, they can also represent the curse and blessing, tribulation and nascency (rebirth), suffering and salvation. Somewise, they deal with the notion of exploited utopian faith in better tomorrow, which in a material way of searching, doesn’t have its real hinterland, because it will never come without honest and original power, that only faith in immaterial can give, and personal reviewing each of us. Personal prayer.
Often torn between one and the other side, the author, through a painter’s almost “ritualistic” emptying at work, strives for eternity, pressed by a civilization that seeks the opposite. Somewhere there, in the raw and honest way of work, there is also a thread about “lost art” that is, what it really was- the sincere truth about the world and all around us, and at the same time, prayer, ritual for better tomorrow.
“Protagonists” of these works came from the side effects of present civilization, they exist in the meta-time like allegorical plays. Carrying the cargo of the personal and collective past, they are metaphorical display of the current hopelessness, but with the aspire to humanity, empathy, religion, original feelings of a human. Striving for a long lost dream. But a dream that can only be achieved by faith, sacrifice, abnegation and introspection, , as opposed to today’s materialistic model of salvation. Every human being has got thorny and far way to the real freedom and luminosity.
